Happy Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year dudes!

I hope everyone had a great New Year and a great collection of Ang Baos though mine was quite crappy.

Some people are just so "niao" and "buey zi dong" lor.. Got three kids and give only $4. Then we have to give your kids at least $4 each. What is this man? Own family also like this.

And kids these days need to learn the basic respect and manners man. You mean parents these days don't teach their kids? And what are schools doing now? I thought there used to be "hao gong ming" textbook kind of thing? Are they taken out of syllabus already? If not why are the kids behaving this way? Horrible. I think in future, the addressing of uncles and aunties, etc will extinct as kids just don't greet their elders even when they see them. They will just stare at you like some idiots. Argh! Irritating.

Anyway, school work is driving me crazy and I barely have the time to blog. I seriously dislike uni life.

I miss my Polytechnic days when my classmates and I just spoke in chinese and hokkien. In University, everyone seems to be speaking in English and I don't really like it.

Thank goodness I still have classmates who belong to the same category as me. Haha!

Well, the school system here sucks as we have to bid for modules. Who on earth bids for modules you tell me! And the worse thing is that they don't specify what are the modules that you can take for different years. Totally screwed up system.

I seriously dislike internationals more and more. I think this is ridiculous. They are here, taking pay from Singapore, using our resources and they behave as if that they are in their own country, as if we owe them. I don't think we deserve such lousy attitude from them. Even those working in my school canteens.

I am starting to feel that this country is not a place where I want to be anymore. I think we lack of welfare. Everything is just so expensive these days and not everyone can afford. Even coffee shop food which used to cost only $2 or $2.50 is now $3 and above, not to say food junctions. What more? Tax is going to increase to 10% now.

Suddenly I don't feel the belonging that I used to feel for our country compared to when I was younger. Things are just so different. I hope that our welfare can be looked into more and I hope that I can feel the sense of belonging once again.
